The Powerease R225 Engine is a dependable and efficient replacement engine designed for equipment requiring a keyed, 3/4” horizontal shaft. Recognized for its durability and consistent performance, this engine is trusted across a wide array of commercial and industrial power equipment applications.

Featuring an air-cooled, 4-stroke, overhead valve (OHV) design, the R225 delivers a higher compression ratio for greater power output and improved fuel efficiency. Designed with field maintenance in mind, the air filter, spark plug, and carburetor are easily accessible, allowing for quick servicing and minimal downtime. The design ensures effective lubrication of all components within the crankcase for long-lasting performance.

For added protection, the automatic low-oil sensor will shut down the engine if oil levels fall below a safe threshold, preventing potential damage and extending engine life.

Recommended fuel is regular unleaded gasoline with an 86 octane rating or higher. While ethanol-free fuel is ideal, blends containing up to 10% ethanol are acceptable.

The Powerease R225 is commonly used in equipment such as pressure washers, generators, water pumps, air compressors, lawn and garden machinery, tillers, and construction tools.
